On-line Security

The security of your information, transactions, and money is critical to us at Cards and Gifts Direct, which is why we use a 128-bit secure socket layer (SSL) to ensure any electronic communications between us are encrypted, meaning they cannot be read via the Internet.

Rather than handle your Credit/Debit card through our system, we take online payments via the secure payment service offered by PayPal.

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

Once your information reaches them (this occurs when you are initially transferred to Sage Pay from our checkout), it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Sage Pay servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorised computers. Cards and Gifts Direct never have access to your Credit/Debit card information which makes it impossible for anyone to capture your card details from our site. Furthermore, we will never contact you to request your Credit/Debit card details.

If you would like more information on Sage Pay, please visit their website at www.paypal.com
