Prices on our website are subject to change without prior notice.

Cards and Gifts Direct are not responsible for any import duty and taxes that you may incur, it is your responsibility to declare any such purchases.

All items must be paid for in full before your order will be despatched. You can pay securely online by Credit/Debit card or PayPal.

You may also pay by Cheque or Postal Order. You will need to make your cheque/postal order payable to "Cards and Gifts Direct Ltd" and send it to the address below along with a copy of your order confirmation. Please put your name, order number and full address on the reverse of the cheque/postal order. Only £ sterling cheques are accepted.

Please note: Any orders paid for by Cheque may not be despatched until your payment has cleared at our bank. This normally takes 3-5 working days from the date of receipt.

The security of your information, transactions, and money is critical to us at Cards and Gifts Direct, which is why we use a 128-bit secure socket layer (SSL) to ensure any electronic communications between us are encrypted, meaning they cannot be read via the internet.

Rather than handle your Credit/Debit card through our system, we take online payments via the secure payment service offered by Sage Pay.

Sage Pay automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

Once your information reaches them (this occurs when you are initially transferred to Sage Pay from our checkout), it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Sage Pay servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorised computers. Cards and Gifts Direct never have access to your Credit/Debit card information which makes it impossible for anyone to capture your card details from our site. Furthermore, we will never contact you to request your Credit/Debit card details.

All orders received by 12pm Monday - Friday are usually despatched the same day. Orders placed after 12pm Monday to Thursday are normally despatched the next day. Orders received after 12pm Friday and on weekends will normally be despatched on Monday (excluding Bank Holidays).

You can select your preferred method of delivery at checkout stage; the list below is a guide to help you decide which option is best for you.

UK Standard Delivery: 3-5 working days.
UK Special Delivery: UK Express Delivery: Normally next working day (Monday to Friday) by 6pm. Deliveries to remote postcode areas may take upto 3 working days. Please note: Orders placed for Express delivery on a Friday will be delivered on a Monday, orders placed on a Saturday will be delivered on a Tuesday. Your order will require a signature on arrival.
Local Collect From Store: Orders are normally ready for collection within 24 hours (Monday-Friday). You will receive an email as soon as your order is ready to collect. Please note: This option is only available for collection from our store in Leekbrook, ST13 7DR
Europe Airmail: 5-7 working days (dependant upon delivery destination).
Worldwide Airmail: 5-10 working days (dependant upon delivery destination).

Please note: We do have size/weight restrictions for international shipments, we will contact you if there are any issues with your order.

Please note: Occasionally deliveries can take longer than the times listed above. We recommend you choose our special delivery service if you need your order quickly. We cannot guarantee the speed of delivery by Royal Mail or any alternative carriers.

Lost or Damaged Orders

Although we take every care to ensure that your order arrives safely, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by Royal Mail or any alternative couriers. If your order should arrive damaged or not arrive at all the following conditions apply:

If your order has arrived damaged:
Please e-mail us at enquiries@cardsandgifts-direct.co.uk immediately explaining the nature of the damage and the products affected. We may request you to return the damaged goods to us should we need to make a claim against the carrier. Cards and Gifts Direct will refund the cost of return postage upon receipt of the damaged goods and production of a postal receipt.

Replacement products will be despatched immediately - if any items are out of stock we will offer you an alternative product or full refund.

If you order has not arrived:
Please allow sufficient time for your order to arrive, listed below is a guide to help you understand normal delivery times.

UK Standard Delivery: 3-5 working days.
UK Special Delivery: Guaranteed next working day delivery (Monday to Friday) by 6pm to 99% of the country including Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey.
Europe Airmail: 5-7 working days (dependant upon delivery destination).
Worldwide Airmail: 5-10 working days (dependant upon delivery destination).

Please note: Occasionally deliveries can take longer than the times listed above and Royal Mail do not regard an item as lost until 15 working days after it was posted (UK) 25 days elsewhere.

If it is longer than 15/25 working days since you received your order confirmation please e-mail us at enquiries@cardsandgifts-direct.co.uk immediately explaining that your order has not arrived.

You may be required to complete a lost declaration form.

Your order will be re-despatched immediately after we receive confirmation of its loss from the carrier. If any items are out of stock we will offer you an alternative product or full refund.

Cancelling or Returning Your Order Back to top

Cards and Gifts Direct are confident that you'll be completely satisfied with your products. However, if for any reason you wish to cancel or return all or part of your order the following conditions apply:

Cancelling before you have received your order:
Please e-mail us at enquiries@cardsandgifts-direct.co.uk as soon as you have decided to cancel.

If your order has not been despatched it will be cancelled and you will be issued with a full refund.

If your order has been despatched you must return the goods, preferably, in their original condition with the original invoice to the address below. You are advised to obtain a free Certificate of Posting from the Post Office when returning goods, a full refund, less any optional upgrades such as Express Delivery, will be issued within 14 days.

Returning your order:
Please e-mail us at enquiries@cardsandgifts-direct.co.uk within 14 working days of receiving your order.

When your order arrives you must return the goods, preferably, in their original condition with the original invoice to the address below. You are advised to obtain a free Certificate of Posting from the Post Office when returning your goods, a full refund, less any optional upgrades such as Express Delivery, will be issued within 14 days.
